He won't let it go

Well im 'in a relationship' with this guy but I want to it cut except he wont let it go. He keeps saying how can I do that after 2 years? But its not going so well he as promised that itll get better but it hasnt. What can I say to make this easier?

Nothing. You've got to be honest and tell him that it's just not working out for you. Of course he's upset and it hurts but nothing is worse then letting it drag on. I know it's hard but if you care for him, just be honest and tell him it's over. The best way is to take a break from each other for a few weeks (no talking or seeing each other) that way it will really sink in and it will give you both a chance to think about if you can and still want to be friends.

be honest. I am a boy and if that happened to me I would just accept the facts. Don't think he will hate you for it, it happens.
