Olympics - water polo

I have watched several matches and have yet to perceive how deep the pool is. Are the players actually able to stand on the bottom of the pool or are they having to tread water? I've payed close attention but still can't tell.

its like 12 ft deep or sm like that, so yeah they have to tread water

One of the rules of water polo is that you cannot touch the bottom, so to allow for that I suppose it must be deepish.

im pretty sure its 12 foot deep. if you look closely, you can see they're treading water
