you probably have to blow into the cartridge. Try taking the game out, and blowing hard into the contacts on the game. I use to have to do that all the time with my Nintendo. And when it would nt work the first time, I tried it again. Usually the game came on eventually. If not, I just tried a new game. Good luck!

Well I'm definitely NOT suggesting this so I am in no way resposible for any damage..
But.. Mine is so beat up it has come to the point where I kinda have to tap on the system
when I turn it on to get it to work. You could even try to call Nintendo and see if they could
do some repairs for you. Other than that, blowing in the cartridge does work but I hear
the moisture from your breath can ruin the game. It is best to find a cartridge cleaning
kit for that. Good luck =)
