Obama=antichrist?

I havent been on in awhile, but was wondering why people think Obama is the antichrist...why do you think this is so?

nobody does...

and I dont know why.
maybe because they dont like him as a president
maybe some racist people think so because a half black person is in charge?
or maybe people think it's because his promises sound so great, they really cant be and he is lying and trying to doom us all.

but still, nobody knows who the anti-christ really is.
so it could be him, it could be anybody.
but I still do not think it's him.

Only God knows but with the condition the world is in, very similiar to as described in the book of Revelation - whomever it is may come on the scene soon or may not, remains to be seen.

Name any famous person, and you'll find lots of people who think they are the antichrist. Antichrist insanity knows no bounds.

He breaks nearly ever prerequisite for being the anti christ. If they would take the time to read Isaiah they would learn more about the Anti-Christ. They have been calling a lot of presidents anti christs, thing is we wont see the anti christ for at least another 20 years.

Well I heard that obama was the antichrist, and here's what people have said-

He didn't stumble - the chief justice flubbed the words by swapping them around from the accepted order.

Also, America is not everybody.

Where do you get your information from? Pit in the world? Are you aware of what country America is? He will come from the middle east, probably Israel. Also according to prophecy America will be last to conform to the anti christ.

Come on Arachnid, haven't you read the Bible? It clearly says that the anti-christ would be the peacefully elected president of a democratic Republic in the North America, and that he would arise in the year 2009 (according to the Gregorian calendar) during the height of Christian endtimes hysteria hyped up by the End Times series, several hundred years after the reformation. It's all there plain as day.

Well, Hal Lindsay seemed to think it possible that Obama is the anti-Christ, and he's been 100% spot-on with all of his predictions. So maybe it is true, after all...

People think Obama is the antichrist either because their racist and they don't want a black president, even though technically he's half-black. Also, angry, POed Republicans think that Obama is the antichrist because they are just angry that democratics are in office.

it is totally untrue, I want to clear this up now. the reasons people think Obama is the ant-Christ is because he fits into a lot of the descriptions of the ant-Christ in the bible. for example of Muslim decent, will become leader of most powerful nation in the world, will be a smooth talker and use that to get a large following and a lot more stuff like he will have no care for his ancestors religions. I have thought about this a lot and can tell you a lot of reasons why a lot of theories like that the world will end can NOT be true. just read the bible!

I challenge you to find any part of the bible that states that. For a start, the idea of muslim descent is nonsense - your religion is a choice, not an intrinsic attribute of a person. Further, when the new testament was written, islam as we know it didn't exist.

Obama originates from Africa, not fromt he land up north.
Africa is a bit south of Israel
There is a bigger chance of the European Union to offspring the Anti Christ as they have already formed the union and already using one monetary value.
