What is the best way to wake up a baby to nurse? She's sleeping too long and I'm getting engorged. I don't get my pump until next week. I tried the hand and foot rubbing but it's not working.

Just put your nipple near her/his mouth.

New babies really like to sleep a lot.

When I breastfed and was engorged, I just took a hot shower and it all just squirted right out. Kind of comical, actually. If I didn't feel like taking a shower, I'd just expressed myself manually enough to get relief.
