My 5 year old is not eating

My 5yr old will not eat she willgo a whole week without eating she ate twice this past week she has dark bags under her eyes can anyone help

please don't wait a minute - take the child to a doctor. Does the child drink water? Is the temperature normal? How much weight did she loose?

you need to take her to the doctor and see what's up. They might put her on a feeding tube thingy, I really don't know but take her to the doctor

oh my gosh you need to take her to a doctor right away - she could have died not eating for a week.

HAHAHAHAH sorry to all you people who are being concerned with this... hi everone im a rn from toronto I also happen to be teh mother of two children ages five and two.. .my daughte tried to pull the same think.. hun I belive she shoudl see someone just outta medical necessaty... but just so you all know a child wont starve themselves... they will eat when hungry... and if she is still moveing about and doing things, just seems alittle outta it.. dont worry im sure if you had some treats shed be ok.. if Not it could be a psycological sorta strike... and she needs soem time to figure her little self out.. please dont be concerned.. I believe shes fine..

Dark circles under the eyes can mean many things even allergies in normally healthy kids, take that girl to the hospital right away she may be seriously ill!!! a child may be a picky eater and not eat WELL for days, but it isn't normal for anybody to go days w/o eating.
