Because they are mammals

Uh, because they do??? There's no real reason.....at least not that I know of. That probably wasn't the answer you were looking for, but it's true.

Actually science does not know why from a recent report... but then again, scientists have no clue how a humming bird as well as a bumblebee flies.. so go figure. It is a good question though.. only God knows.

well, the best answer I can think of is because God wanted it that way, and because it drives them absolutely nuts when you run your hand over them...haha. but in reality, it's because it's a secondary sex feature...girls are attracted to them oftentimes, and guys like it when they are touched and such.
