A Nickname is usually picked by people who know you, and usually involves an event or significant happening. For example, my nickname came form the term 'lexicon', which is an old word meaning 'dictionary', meaning I like to use a variety of words. You can't really expect to get a good or accurate one by a bunch of people who don't really know you. Nicknames are personal, and are thus only really bestowed on you by someone who knows you personally.

I don't know- usually your friends pick your nicknames but...whatever...people call me twiggles, k-ren, frank...so it usually sounds better when it comes from someone you no...if you have a boyfriend c what he calls you or do somethinng that would seem like a cool nick-name...or casually slip it in to a conversation like if your wearing a lot of blue be like ' wow I just relized I am wearing a ton of blue...I need to start being called blue'
