What should i study to be a news reporter?

What education do I need to become a news reporter? Example do i need to be good in math or maybe science or social studies? Which one do i need??

Well, I'm not totally sure, but I believe you would have to go to broadcasting school. I had a friend that wanted to be a reporter and she was told to make sure she took drama in high school because it helped with onair jitters.
