New year's eve parties - who's going?

I think nearly everybody I know will be going to a new year's eve party this year, though I personally won't be able to go. What about you all? Will you be making fun new year's eve parties? If so, give us the scoop - what's the best spot to party down, Las Vegas? San Fran? Manhattan?

This year Times Square in Manhattan was defiantly not the place to be! Firstly, there was like three or four checkpoints just so you could get in to the square. Then everyone was herded into this little pens and anyone who had a bag was turned back. Everyone was just standing there, no beer, no alcohol whatsoever. And once the ball dropped, everyone disappeared. Within twenty minutes the place was cleared!!! Has anyone ever seen Times Square clear so quickly. Everyone there was cold, and bored, and ready to get out once the ball fell. This New Year’s was apparently the largest percentage of foreigners which have ever attended, and doesn’t it make sense?! Most New Yorkers know better.
