Has anyone been to nepal?

has anyone been to nepal?
anyone know any info about the wealth of the country, the population, life expectancy and the landscape.
please help!

I've been there twice...it's a great place, I was in Kathmandu the whole time, I saw the world's largest Buddhist museum, the old palace, the monkey temple and more stuff, I can't recall off hand though as it's been a few years. Very nice people though driving there seems to be a nightmare. I think it's also more peaceful now that the civil war is over.

I've never been there but I have loads of nepalise friends who tell me.
some parts are really poor but some are normal. its beautifull. lots of the people are really nice but some arent like basically anywhere else. they can speak english well most of them can as they have to learn it so that would be easy.
