Is it too early to tell if I'm pregnant?

So I went to the clinic this morning, to find out if I am pregnant. It came out Negative the doctor said I'm not pregnant yet, is it to early to find out anyways? its only been 10 days since we had sex and I was only supposed to start my period yesterday morning so I haven't started yet, she said I could be I don't know is it to early to tell anyways? could I be since I didn't start my period? if you need more information its on my other questions

Usually the earliest you can tell if you're pregnant is the day after you were supposed to have your period, so not it isnt too early, but false negatives are possible...

Usually, you should get checked two months after you've had sex, just to be sure.
