In order to answer the question properly a bit more information would help. Such as what does your friend believe in. I would be happy to share some of the information with you here too.
In the bible, John 14:6 states, Jesus speaking," I am the Way, the Truth and the Life, no man comes to the Father but through Me." In John chapter 3 verses 1 - 18 it gives a clear cut view of who Jesus is and His authority and power. Start there and then send a reply.
Thanks for the question and your friends willingness to seek the truth.

sometimes people have different opinions on life and religions...me I respect all religions and I feel they are all tied together in some way even if they are different ...let these people find there chosen god on there own and some day they will understand where you are comming from but if they dont want to learn right now thats a good way to loose friends just make sure not to preassure them about this because its a delicate subject to be throwing towards some people and some cant handle it...

You could start by relating to him/her. Tell them to look at a building and ask them if it "just happened" to appear or look at the workings of a pocketwatch and ask if it "just works" or is their a designer behind it. Someone who took the time and care into every minute detail so that it would be the building it was meant to be or the watch works in perfect time. Then you could tell them that in much the same way a flower or us even, didn't just evolve or just happen, but have a Designer who has taken much care and thought and love into creating this world and us. From there you could lead into the creation story.
God bless.

The best way to lead someone to a path, like Christianity, is to walk the walk yourself, they will see by your actions, not by your words. (Hmmm, I do believe it says so somewhere in the Bible)

Do not preach to him/her, that will just irritate them and cause them to listen less.

Sadly, most Christians have not grasped this yet.

WE are commanded to walk the walk, but, also, to share the word.. Where we mess up is not having the discernment that we need, to know when, and where and how, this should be done... More empathis needs to be placed on this.

The more you attempt to shove it down their throat, the more irritated they will be.
Lead by example. Religion is a personal choice, you can't force them into it.

try to tell her...
and if that doesn't work... keep on trying...

sometimes your not the one to tell her...

God puts other people there to reach out to different people...
if that makes sense...
