not al pits are fighters thats just if they are treated like that from babies.if you teach him 2 get along wit the other dogfrom a puppy he will lear to be good.the humane society doesnt sell fighting dogs and tells you if the dog is good wit other dogs.pet store ones are put in cages wit other dogs so they are use to it
Yeah. I'd be more worried about the puppy (short-term).
My pitt grew up with 2 chihuahuas. She was sweeter and more innocent than they were if anything. The myths about Pitts being more aggressive than any other breeds is false but I do want to point out that they are extremely strong/powerful. They really are just like any other type of dogs but they are more powerful (strength wise) and are naturally determined. This is why people "TRAIN" them to fight. Believe it or not, they are considered very good family dogs! They LOVE kids and the are resistant to pain. Ex. I can use a pinch-choker on my pitt and it wouldn't bother her if I pull but it would really bother my English Bulldog who is just as big as she is. If you don't trust me, do some research.
Hope I helped.
WELL I HAVE A TEACUP CHIHUAHUA THATS ABOUT 1 1/2 YEARS OLD AND ABOUT 2 POUNDS AND I GOT A 6 MONTH OLD PITT AND THEY ARE BEST FRIENDS,,,ACTUALLY MY CHIHUAHUA BEATS UP THE PITT,,, I THINK IT ALL DEPENDS ON HOW you RAISER IT,,IF you RAISE IT WELL THEN THEY SHOULD BE FINE TOGETHER
The puppy will rely on you to keep him safe, until he can take care of himself with the bigger dogs...
One of the best ways in the world to "introduce" new dogs into a pack, to to walk them all together...or if that'd be too unmanagable, then take the pup, and one of the other dogs (the most dominate one first)...then the other...The "migratory walk" sets the seed for them all being in the same pack...and of course, you're there to make sure it all goes well.

I have 2 Puppies. They are 1 and a half years old. Half German Sheperd and half Chow. One girl and one boy. I would like to get a pit bull that is about 3 months old. Would they be ok together. I hear a lot about pit bulls and I just want to know if it will bee ok to have with my other dogs.
