How do I put a link on my myspace page?

I want to promote a certain site, and when I edit my profile and put in the http www. blah blah, it doesn't show up on my myspace page.. why is this and why cant I put it in, and if you got it to work or know how, give me sum advice.

use the 'a href=' tag from basic html. or try using the full address like it is in the url bar above on your brower including http://
