What if my sister admitted to molestation on her death bed?

omg...my mother just called me and she told me that my sister has canser theres really no nice way to put that and now that my sister might be in her death bed she came out and told use that she was molested when she was 5 to the guy my mother is still seeing and my mom dosnt belive her...so my sister walkes over to my moms boy frind and slaps him and said im sorry I had to tell it hert me for to long and I have to let it go... im so depressed right now...what should I do my mom dosnt belive me and my sister might be dieng from canser...help me I need help...

Your sister should contact the authorities... even if it happened when she was 5.

She should bring charges against him so that he doesn't do it to anyone else.

It's really tough that your mom doesn't believe her. What mother wouldn't believe her own child about something so serious?

I know it has to be hard on you. I recommend counseling for both of you. There are also a few good books to help her sort through her emotions from sexual abuse. "The Right to Innocence" and "The Courage to Heal"

I am a survivor as well. I was told that there was a statute of limitations when we went to the police station to get information. Would be interested in knowing if I was told wrong.

wow me too. its really hard but you have to suport your sister and get the authoritys involved. he might be doing it to others. xx
