My parents hate my best friend

im 15
my parents found my cigaretts in my room and they asumed it was one of my friends fault and that she got me into it so they told me I cant see her anymore and shes one of my best friends

what do I do?

don't try and place the blame on her.
own up to it, and tell them that you make your own decisions, not her.
try and convince them that she's a good friend, and you wont let her influence you.

well did she get you into it?

I know shes your bestfriend and all but then again is she really your best friend if shes getting you into stuff that you wouldnt of been doing if you wouldnt of met her?

and if she didnt then why do you do it? why did you have them? who did you get them from?

1st--quit smoking now, while you are still able and not so addicted that you can't

2nd) whether she got you started or not you both need to stop!! Tell your parents that you started on your own and that you are quitting. Don't get angry with them and treat them with the respect they deserve as being concerned parents, and that's what this all about. They love you and only want someone who is a positive influence to be around u! That said...let them know you did something stupid...a poor judgement call and that they can trust you in the future. And follow through don't just appease them with what you think they want to hear, because they will know what you are doing!

0OH AND YAH NEED TO STOP SMOKIN you COULD GET LUNG CANCER IT CAN CAUSE a lot OF PROMBLEMS GOD FOR BID you DIE because OF THOS3 CIAGARTTES THEN you WOULD REGRET IIT AND SHOULD OF QUIT SMOKIN SO QUIT before IIT TURN INTO A BAD HABIT

no she didnt get me into it my couison did

I dont do it everyday just occasionaly
and I do it because it calms me down and I dont no I just do it

I got them from a friend but not the one I mentioned above

If you made the choice to start smoking, you should own up to that. It's one thing for your parents to blame your best friend, but it's another to trash her, and for what. I don't mean to dis your parents, but I think they're being dishonest with you when they say they don't hate anyone.
