I think my mp3 is broken. A few days ago it messed up and I forget what actually happened but it like froze, so I could not switch it off so I just let the battory run out. well now whenever I try and charge it won't turn on. Like usually it says SanDisk and than says charging but this time it says SanDisk and won't switch on and charge it just keeps on saying SanDisk.
-It's a mp3
-the brand is SanDisk
-it has 8GB
- It is about half a year old
Is there any way to fix it?

Check the instructions for faq/faults. Try going on the make's website and seeing what to do when this happens. Hmm =/

Good luck =]

Hm.. if you have a 2 year warranty.. bring it back! They'll give you a brand new one. If you didn't get the extended warranty, you may have to find the money to buy another mp3 player. If you have to buy another one, try a different brand. I have afew friends with SanDisk mp3 players. They ALWAYS have trouble with them.

Try Samsung. Mine's a Samsung and I've had NO trouble with it. Or save money for a while and buy an iPod.

I'd cry if my mp3 broke. I think they discontinued the style. If they didn't, Best Buy just stopped selling it and I couldn't get a new one anyway.

I have a SanDisk MP3 player and it's done that to me a couple of times. Like, I'll be going through the songs, then all of a sudden it'll freeze up--it won't play, I can't shut it off, I can't do anything with it at all, it doesn't even recognize it if I hook it up to the computer. One of my friends has also had the same problem with her SanDisk. We just set it up and let the battery run out. It's also done some other weird stuff...like, it created folders out of some of my songs and when I look at the properties on the computer, it says the folders were created in 1979 and 2085, and I can't delete them. I asked some people at Best Buy about it, they said that they didn't know what to do. So yeah, I guess I wasn't much help, but at least you know you're not alone =P
