My moms boyfriend is very controlling, what do I do..?

My moms boyfriend is very controlling. And he can get very abusive at times. I am afraid for my mom and I want to help her out. He locks up her medicine and her money that she gets from work. He makes her pay $250 a month and he lives with his parents. I live with my grandpa about 5-10 mins away and I want my mom to come stay back in the house with me. But there are some issues that need to be settled at the house before she would be able to come move back in. If she comes back with me.. I would want my mom to break up with him and start out a whole new life, but the problem is.. He might go crazy and I dont want him hurting my mom. All I want her to do ius forget about him and find somone new that is right for her and treats her well. Any advice?

If he is abusive you could call an abuse hotline. I know he isn’t abusing you but they would know better how to tell you to talk to your mom and possibly get her out of that situation…
