How can I get my mom to let me date?

so theres this really sweet guy I have liked ever since the first day of my freshmen year in HS, and I found out he has liked me for that long too and we try to hang out as much as we can, but my mom wont even lemme go on a date, or a group dte, or even hang out with him, and I REallY like him, he is the first guy I ever liked and loved so much! HelP

Depends on your age and the age of your friend. Have you sat and spoken to your mother on her reason not letting you date. Speak to your mother and let her know how you feel calmly and have differant options she may consider. Why dont you try to invite your friend over and meet the family. Watch movies, listen to music or just chat. Maybe then you Mother may reconsider your options.

What ever you do please dont lie, you will get caught in the end and that just gets messy.
