Ok. I wear skinny jeans cause I like em. I straighten my hair,and my mom thinks im gothic! I mean come on!!! Just cause I wear skinny jeans. I dont even paint my nails black! I paint them neon colors. And I hate when people put me in catagories! Im not...

emo,im not gothic im jessica leighann hart... Thats it! Ugh! What do I do 2 make her reilize that? She doesnt belive a word I say!

Tell her the TRUTH behind goth kids. You don't sound like a goth at all. But she's a parent and most parents don't understand all the stuff now days. Straightening your hair ISN'T goth AT ALL... skinny jeans considered more emo than goth so just explain to her that your NOT goth and even IF you were, it's NOT bad thing.

I think that just ignoring her would be a bad idea because eventually it's going to build. You should explain to her WHY you don't consider yourself gothic. [Do this respectfully] Good luck!

well yout not goth
and so many other girls and boys wear skinny jeans
tell her that you dont care about labels, and that youdont want to be labeled
tell her you not goth, your not emo, ect, your jessica
and that hundreds of thousands of other kids all around the world also wear skinny jeans
and a lot of them dont want to belong to a label either
