I am a physician, and what I'm about to say should only be taken as a suggestion. If you are still concerned after my answer, please see your primary care physician.
Many young teens experience these types of pains everyday. When you engage in physical activity while your body is still growing, your muscles adjust by expanding and retracting, causing a soreness we like to call growing pains. There is nothing to prevent these, as it is a stage of puberty.
Hope this helped!

My knees are painful from track
Send me Fun Mail
I'm in track so apparently I run a lot an a few minutes after I run I get pains in my knees. the pains are right below each knee and it hurts to walk...I try to go to the doctor for it but I have no idea what to do about I've tried the braces and it just made it worse. I'm 13 years old, ...is that normal?
