My hamster bites and scratches non-stop

My robo hamster, java is a girl. She is about 1 1/2 years old. About two months ago, she started scratching and biting her left back side by her leg. she lost hair and had a big red spot. We took her to the vet, got medicine, and the hair came back....

Then she started scratching again, and I saw a mite fly out of her cage. I used an at home treatment but it didnt work. She is still scratching and biting and I feel so bad for her. I also feel like I am being bitten and itchy. What can I do to get rid of the mites?

if you go to the pet store they might have something to help
if you think the mites are in the hamster's cage,you should throw it out and get a new one,and make sure to clean it good.
