My hamster

Why wont my hamster eat anything and im realy worried he might die and I've only had him for 2 days

Hi , I have 4 hamsters. And one just had 7 babys 2 weeks ago, so I have a lot of knowledge.
-The problem with your hamster might be that he is not used the the new saroundings! If you have a dog or a cat in your home then you should put him in a different room all by himself! All of my hamsters are in one room with the door closed and we don't let the cats or dogs in the room!!
-If that does not work try simple things like changeing his food, he may not like the kind you give him... go to your petstore and buy the fresh hamster food that you bag urself!! That food has dryed fruits in it and its good for them!!! Also give him fresh food and water everyday even if he is not eating! If your hamster is not drinking his water then he is sick! But if he is drinking his water he is most likely going to be fine!! thats a good sign if he is drinking!!

well if you just got him he is proly scared try covering his tank up and leave the room

try give him bread after you soack it in water or milk but keep him out with you for hours let him hide in your tshirt

he wont eat any thing for the first couple of days let him settle down in his new home and things should be fine after that
