My girlfriend asked me to stop...why?

Whenever I finger my girlfriend, she gives all the signs of enjoyment, wetness, heavy breathing, moaning occassionally etc, but after a few minutes she asks me to stop. Any ideas why this might be?

She may NOT be ready, and doesn't want you to be upset with her. As well as the fact that it may hurt and she doesn't want to show it, just do as junior girl said: COMMUNICATE. If you can't do that then there is a lot of work that needs to be done in your relationship.
