My dogs water broke how long before the first pup is born?

This is my female boxers first litter...I have helped with whelping pups before but its been awhile does anyone know how long it usually is after the water breaks that the pups are born? thanks for all that reply

not 2 sure but I know for cats its bout a half hour to a hour sometimes minute after. but with it being her 1st litter could b a while.

should be with in 12 hour or less if no puppys in 12 hours get her to a vet

Water broke? Actually since your message was 22 hours ago you should have a whole litter of puppies born by now. Congratulations!
