I know it may sound random, but I was on the trampoline with my dog the oither day, and I was scatratching her tummy, and her nipples seemed to be extremily itchy, so I wondered if she was in pup, so I checked her udders and there was a small ammount of milk there..and I was just wondering could it be she is in pup..or is it just natural? she has lost weight rather then put weight on, so please could somebody give me there opinion? thankyou x

I think you should take her to the vets to be honest... dogs are renown for 'phantom pregnancies (my brothers dog had two - both when she had come into contact with pregnant women) but they can manifest physical as well as psychological and behavioural changes...

also, if she has lot weight, and is secreting milk from her nipples, they might just check her throid and hormone levels...

when was the last time she was in 'heat'? was she allowed out of your sight? would she have had a chance to get pregnant? have you noticed any oter changes...

like people, you can't assume a health diagnosis, so it's always better to get them checked proffessionaly
