Will a piece of dark chocolate kill my chihuahua?

I have a chihuahua terrier mix and weighs 9 lbs, if he ate a piece of dark chocolate will it kill him?

its fine in a certain quantity but i cnt remember wot it is
i think its one pond to enery 5 of the dogs own weight but dark chocalate is probally like one to every two of thiers but u can buy doggy choc which my dog loves more than i love normal choc

no i have a very big dog and feed her about 3 bars of milk chocolate a day along with biscits lolololol but ur dog will b fyn - dont worry ~~~

Dogs don't need chocolate . (certainly not three bars a day plus biscuits either) If you want to feed treats , feed a proper dog treat .

It probably wouldn't kill the dog but it may cause him to get diarrhea.

Dont even think about it! Yeah,that will kill him!Carrots and small bits of hotdog r ok,
but donot feed it chocolate!!! EVER!!!

so where do you people get your information. my dogs love MMs and not one of them has keeled over. as a small treat if they like it. why on earth would it kill them?
