Why does my lab stick her head in bushes?

my 13 yr old lab sticks her head in any bush she is around and just stands there like she's playing hide and seek. why?

my dog does that two, maybe because there is like some squirell crap there, on a dead animal, or just for fun

My mum had a lab who also did this, it's very odd she used to walk in, out and around the bush in slow motion. Never knew why sorry cant help just thought it was mad to see another lab doing it!!
