My dead hair

I straighten my extremely curly hair everyday. I refuse to get it cut anymore because every time I do, the hair doesnt grow back. my hair just keeps breaking and getting shorter. my splitr ends are RIDICULOUS! I dont know what to do to take care of it......

(and I prefer that not straightening my hair isn't an option)

First of all, washing and keeping your hair healthy would help it grow faster and become healthier.

Second, you should go to the salons to have your hair permanantly straight so you would't have to worry bout straightening it...besides, you said your hair takes a long time to grow...your hair will get curly again when it grows out so maybe get a little haircut before having it permanantly striaght.

just get a perm 4 it to stay straight

we have the sameee situation. I dont know how to fix and keep the split ends from happening to make them look better get CHI silk infusion or anything like that.
you only put in a tiny amount after you straighten and it makes the splitends look way healthier and way less noticeable

I'm a hairdresser and I've read the other answers they right in what they're saying, but not 100% right. Chemicaly straightening your hair can be one of the most damaging things you can do to your hair. But is a good option, but they don't garentee the type of straight you'd get with straighteners. My advice would be to go to the hairdressers every 4 to 5 week. Use a heat protecive serum and become addicted to moisture inriched conditioning treatments, put in three time a week make sure, after you've put them in wrap your hair in a towel, It will keep in heat that will help treat the hair. As well have you ever tried curling you hair. I think curls are gorgous and you won't have to straighten your hair everyday.
