My daughter hates the idea of a bra

She refueses to wear one but she is 12 and NEEDS one! I bought her some, but she ignores them HELP

If you've bought them for her, and tried to tell her that she NEEDS them, and she still refuses to wear one, then maybe you could try asking one of her friends to tell her she needs one. If you don't; they eventually will, or, she'll be teased in school. She's only 12, unless they're already A's, she probably will be able to make it through sweater season without one. Good luck with her- she's of 'that age' now... You sound like a very caring Mom.

I think you should take her bra shopping cause most of the time girls like comfort and some bra are not so sit her down and tell her that you understand that she doesnt wanna wear one but she has to

I would suggest having her wear sports bras first, and also do what amani18 said and take her shoping :D

take away one of her priveledges. (excuse my spelling).. tell her all of the cool kids are wearing them and there in style. tell her it'll make her feel more comfortable when walking around. ell her kids will tease her if she doesnt wear them. or maybe tel her not everyone gets to have a bra and she's lucky to have one.

some of those answers are a bit harsh... the girl clearly hates the idea of bras so you cant punish her for not wanting to wear one. but you should explain that if she doesnt start wearing them now it could have a long term effect when shes older. it will make her boobs look saggy. and thats not attractive to anyone. if she really refuses to wear a bra, then sports bras or crop-tops are another option. shes only 12, and even though you may say she needs one, shes not even a teenager yet so just give it time. she'll listen eventually..
