Why isn't there sound on my camera video?

I need help with my camera, it is a Olympus Fe- 130 camera, and I have a project where I have to take a video with sound, so I took the video but when I play it the video is fine but there is no sound when I play it , and I dont know how to adjust the volume , can someone help me?

Hey, my friend has a camera video thing but it doesn't play sound either, haven't fixed the problem though lol, hmm.. what does the instruction manual say? I assume you've read it though so you might have to take it back where you bought it from and get it fixed or replaced?

Some digital camera's have video recording ability, but don't have a built-in microphone to pick up the sound also. A quick search of your type of camera didn't tell me either way whether it has a microphone or not. My previous camera (Fujifilm S3500) could record video but didn't have sound, whereas my current camera (Fujifilm S5500) does. Check the instruction booklet, see if you can find on the diagram pointing out where all the bits are whether it has a microphone - if it does, then try finding the section which adjusts volume on the camera.
