My brother hates me!

well, my brother is 17 and im 13. my family started doing foster care like 5 years ago or something. we adopted a little girl named marissa who I take as my real sister. well ever since we had marissa as our own my brother started to hate me. me and...

him used to be so close to eachother but once marissa came into the picture he just hates me for some reason. he calls me fat and ugly and little pitty things that he thinks might make me mad btu im so used to them they dont bother anymore. he always tries to get me in trouble and I cant stand it anymore. im always talking about what I wanna do when im older and he always criticizes me and I hate it! when I see my brother I never really talk to him because he'll eitther say oh dont talk to me you little scum and things like that. my mom tries to talk to him about this and he doesnt listen to her and same with my dad. I wanna try t have a better relationship with my brother as brother and sister but I don't know what to do and really, hes my brother so I love him.

can you guys please help me out

just older brothers being brothers. my older bro is the same. you'll get use to it. just treat it like a bully at school.

I know how that can be not to that extent but I have any older brother he use to pick on me. in a way its only because he was trin to make me tough stop being so soft fight back he'll respect you a lot more that you just going to mommy and daddy my brother and I use to fist fight like cats and dogs but we love each other more that you can ever know he dosent hate you I told my brother I hated himbefore but it was only in a fight the 2 of you are still young u'll get past this stage im 19 and my brother is 23 he still calls me ugly and I still call him stupid but its all out of love.

He might just be upset it's not just you two anymore, or it's boys being boys. But him calling you fat etc, don't take it to heart.

I think is messed up that he is picking on you. It may change when he gets older but I worry that you may start believing some of what he is saying and start questioning yourself. Maybe you should write him a letter telling him. Or if not then just keep your distance.
