My boyfriend drinks I want him to stop help!

Ok well I have a great boyfriend he doesn't smoke but he does drink!not like a maniac though but it stills concerns me!how can I tell him to stop in a good assertive way that doesn't make it seem like I tell him what to do!can anyone give me some facts of early age drinking?

try to give hints with the drinking + how old is he? then you might really tell him to STOP the droinking

tell him how you feel about it and if he loves you he will stopping.
one I hated that my boyfriend was on drugs so I told him how I feel and I told him "if you love me you will stop" and he did stop!
