My best friend (Lindsey) has been dating this girl for about two years now and he really cares about her but lately she has started flirting with me and telling me I'm hotter than Lindsey and that she wants me to go out with her and things of that nature and I don't know how to tell Lindsey.

Don't do it. Girlfriends will come and go in life but a real friendship is something that will last forever.

You def need to tell your friend! wateva you do dont pursue anything with this girl becos you'll ruin your friendship. Its best to go to him and tell him what she has been saying and reassure him that nothing has happened between the 2 of you and see what he does about it.
