What if my best friend really hates my boyfriend?

I've been going out with this guy for about three months. we really like eachother and stuff and he treats me really well and we are really close. everything is perfect except for the fact that my best friend absolutely hates him.

she was perfectly fine with him for the first couple of months but she recently started hating him. I do know for a fact that she feels like im ditching her for him but thats not true at all because I only see my boyfriend once or twice a week and I usually see her all of the other days. she wont even give him a chance anymore and she is always talking badly about him and convincing me to ignore him. and if we are ever hanging out and we run into my boyfriend in public, she forces me to ignore him. she does not have a reason to hate him but she just does. our friendship has kind of gotten bad lately because now she always seems to be in a bad mood.

I talked to my boyfriend about the situation and now he feels bad that my relationship with my best friend might get ruined because of him. im afraid that me and my boyfriend might have to break up over this and I really dont want that to happen because he makes me really happy and I know that I make him happy too. my best friend even understands how happy he makes me, but she still insists on being selfish about it all. I really dont want to break up with my boyfriend and I definitely dont want to lose my best friend either. what should I do?

who cares? they are seriously going to have to deal with it, like seriously, if your boyfriend respects you, he'll learn to deal with your best friend, if your best friend really loves you, then she'll,learn to get with it. :]

Is there truly NOTHING wrong with your boyfriend that your friend wouldn't like? Be honest with yourself. Anything at all? Do you talk about him all the time? Do you feel like your best friend is not really a good friend? I'm not saying that any of these are necessarily true, but just consider all the possibilities.
