Moving in with another family member

I am 14, am I old enogh to make a decision to move in with my nana?

Yes, but you'd have to have your parents approval, you couldn't just say, I;m moving and leave like that. If things are really bad at home, it's probably the best decision to leave, but if you just want to rebel, think it over, it could be the wrong decision. 14 is a little young, so I suggest waiting until you're 16. Then, if you get the rents' to sign papers you can move into your own place ( that's drastic, but if you're desperate). You can't actually leave against their will until you're 18. And NEVER RUN AWAY.

If you think the situation would warrent a move and your nana agrees with you then yes your parents can allow you to move in, but no you can't just up and move in without their permission. You will be considered a runaway and you CAN serve juvinel detention for such. My nephew is 14 and recently moved in with his grandmother, however that's his last chance before military school.. so think about that. Think about why you REALLY want to move. No one LOVES their parents when they're 14, but the fact is that they ARE your parents and you're probably pretty much stuck with them until you're a legal adult and able to move out on your own.
