Movies portraying animals smarter than human beings.?

I don't know but it really seems like it.
like in the movie Ghost, the dog knew there was a ghost in the room...??
and how cats can predict a full moon by acting different usually a few days before it happens.

just a movie but, note how only the HUMANS were affected by the airborne toxins whereas the animals were not. you can even see it in the beginning:
when the people in central park pause, the dog is just running around; it didn't affect the dog.
I don't know, it's kind of stupid but I think in some ways they are...?

do animals have certain senses humans dont, absolutely
does that make them smarter, well maybe smarter than some humans

None of those things make animals smarter than humans.

Particularly the bit about diseases. Not being affected by disease doesn't make a being smart, it just means they don't have the right markers to match up to the disease.
