Is it wrong to ask about my birth mother?

I am adopted and so is my brother. I have always wondered who my mom was but I don't want to upset my mom who adopted me! What to do?

No you have every right to know who you birth mom is! all you have to do is sit her down and just talk to them bout how you want to know bout you birth mother! She sould completely understand!

sit down and talk to your adopted mother ask her i am curious about my real mother, she should be happy that you want to know what your a part of your not only a part of her but your a part of your birth mother too ..... I am adopted also .....And i have never met my real father and i asked about him cuz i felt as if there was something missing in my life and she under stood why i was asking so then she told me and now i feel beeter about it instead of keepin in

It shouldnt upset her in any way and sit her down with your brother if he would like to know as well and the 3 of you talk about her and stuff. If she doesnt know much she should about the name or something of her I think if she has the adoption papers still she should. Theres places on the internet if u can search n stuff to find her n wat not. GOOD LUCK!

You have to realize that she is the one that took care of you, your step mother that is. but there is nothign wrong with askign about your birth mother.

your adoptive mother took the chance when adopting you that you would one day ask questions and be curious about your birth mother. tell her you're curious about the lady who gave birth to you.

its not wrong to want to know or meet your birth mother if I was adopted I would like to meet my birth mother
