I have a small money tree and some of the small branches/leaves on top are green and full. how and when do I continue the braiding of the branches without breaking them off and should I remove some of the leaves and stems?

Hi,

Whatever you do, don't "top" the trees to make them smaller. Topping is the worst thing that can be done to trees. There is information on the website about why topping is bad.

Although the money tree is much smaller/different than trees found naturally in our communities it is pruned essentially the same. The key for a money plant is to make sure it is aesthetically pleasing, so take a little at a time following the guide on the website. You can always take more off. Make sure each cut is at a lateral branch so there isn't a stub left.

Good luck!
