Moles - skin cancer?

I had a mole on my belly and when I was younger I use to try and pick it up and it bled so my mom took me to the doctors, but I stopped all that so the doctors left it. But a few weeks ago I was bored and saw some "wart and varuca freezer" so I sprayed it on my mole. It hurt and went really weird. Then it started growin back so I kept picking the scab of and now its a tiny little red mark and doesnt look like the mole will come back but I think it will because its a mole. Lol.. But anyways, my friends sed you have to be carfull with moles because you can get skin cancer. Do you think I've got it from trying to freeze it off. it looks like a little red mark with dry skin around it sort of thing . any advice what to do? Shall I just leave it and see what happens? Or is there a chance of cancer?

If it is just a red mark I wouldn't worry about it. If the mole comes back larger than it was before, or if it is oddly colored or shaped you should have a doctor look at it.
