How can I convince my parents to let me model?

ok..
I LOVE MODELiN AND EVERYTHiNG ABOUT iT,
BUT iT iS LiKE EVERYTiME I GET
CLOSE TO MAKiNG THE DREAM COME TRUE, MY MOM AND DAD always FiNDS A WAY TO MAKE ME NOT GO. I have AUDiTiONED FOR MODEL PRODUCTiONS, AND MADE iT TO THE FiNALS, BUT WHEN iT CAME DOWN TO THE DAY THAT I WAS SUPPOSED TO COME AND AUDiTiON FOR A PLACE iN THE TOP 10, I COULDN'T MAKE iT.. what SHULD I TELL MA PARENTS that WiLL CONViNCE THEM TO LET ME PURSUE MY DREAMS iN MODELiN, I AM 13 years. OLD!! and I REALLY WANT TO MODEL FOR MODEL PRDUCTiONS, THATS iN ATLANTA, SO FOR ANYONE OUT THERE WHO iS iN THE SAME POSiTiON AS ME, please GiVE ME ADviCE.. THiS AGENCY iS BiG!!

Well, maybe you can convince them that you want to model by showing them that other things (like grades or your health) will not suffer as a result. Tell them you'll have a 'trial' period--they let you try out the modeling for one semester, or 5 months. If you grades go down or your health suffers, then you will quit it and never talk about it again. If you keep up your grades and maintain your health, they will let you pursue it further.

First of all your parents shouild be proud of the fact that you know what you want to do in life already . or rather for the moment.I mean you are going to make money, get to travel, and make new friends, and of course better yourself.I just can't imagine any parent that wouldn't want their child to pursue their dreams.I mean my parents help me any way they can.they even have to cancel or be late to important things that they have to do just make sure that they can help my dreams be fulfilled.I don't have the best parents in world but they are there for me any moment and anytime.they have a purpose as a parent and that is to help raise me and in raising me I believe its their responsibilty to help me pursue my dreams and become a better person as a child do I can grow up in to manhood and eventually help my children out!

Most top models arn't discovered at very young ages. You never know how your face will mature. Don't be in such a rush! Your parents might not like the idea now, but if you stick with it for awhile exentually they should give in! Your their little girl right now and the modeling world is a very tough one maybe they think its silly right now. When your older your parents won't have control over you anyways!

My mom and dad have taken me into modeling agencies aswell, I used to be really into the whole idea of being a model, but when it came down to going back to auditions, my mom would always sit me down and ask me ''are you sure you want to do this?''.

All parents are different and have their own ideas about modeling, maybe yours just have the wrong idea about how models eat, and have health issues with the modeling idea.

Your parents could also just be concerned about how you would take it if you got shut down by some agencies. The best thing for you to do is sit down with your parents and confront them about why you seem to always ''miss'' go-see's or whatever you keep missing.

One last thing is that your only 13. I'm not calling you young, but at 13 I certainly wouldn't want to make up my mind about what im going to do for the next 20 years of my life or longer.
