What if I don't really know why I miss him, but I do?

my boyfriend asked me once if I missed him when I couldnt talk to him for a while. and I said I did, to which he said "why" but the thing is I really dont know the whole reason y. I think about him when I cant talk to him and I miss hearing his voice and how he sometimes flirts with me still. but I feel kind of stupid telling him this. what do I do?!

I think 'yes I do miss you' doesn't need explaining.

Tell him what you just wrote,when you can't see him you like to talk to him, when you can't talk to him you miss hearing his voice Don't feel stupid, you're just being honest.

Seems like he's trying to find out how you feel about him. Ask him does he miss you and then ask him why.
