I take 100 mg of zoloft everyday for about a year for anxiety. I plan on getting off waiting a year then joining the navy, but I read that if have current or history of anxiety then you cant join. does that mean that if uve ever had anxiety then you cant join? or what?

I suffer the same problem as you do, but I think first you have to build your confidence up, and stop taking 100mg of zoloft. try CBT (cognitive behavure therapy) before joing the Navy. Otherwise, having the Zoloft might decease your chances of doing what you want to do. But I can't see you not being able to get in the Navy because of anxiety problems. I want to join the Raf at 18 but I know, if I have the confidence, I can do it.
