Times New Roman would be the font. Are you trying to recreate a newspaper article with pictures and text on a PP slide? It wont be that hard if you just copy the look off any newspaper...
Like you can split a slide into two columns (or you can just do one column/article in a slide), with big thick bold headlines on top of each column. Put the picture underneath the headline, and follow up with smaller fonts with the reporter's name (your name) etc.. Make use of lines and stuff like how newspapers do. Also, you can search online a big jpeg picture of old, recycled-looking paper to use as the background for all the slides. Or you can just use a dark yellowish background color.
