How to put on makeup?

I am a tomboy. I live with my dad and 2 digusting brothers, so it's no surprise that I dont know how 2 do anything girly, except wut I pick up on tv and from friends at school.
anyway, my question is, how do you put on makeup? like eyeliner (without poking yourself in the eye or straying from the line), foundation, blush, mascara(I have a basic idea), and eyeshadow(so many pretty colors, which ones and how?)
most of all, how do I make sure that I dont look like a barbie doll, weirdo, or hooker,lol

just go with natural tones. For instance, light browns for eyeshadows and pinkish colors for your blush. Also, pinkish colors for lip gloss. it all depends on your complection. just DON'T put to tooo much on. Just highlight your best features.
Eyeliner can get tricky, especailly when its liquid. I had the hardest time putting that sucker stuff on and I just barely got the hang of it. Try to use pencil eyeliner for now. I'll try posting a picture of me so you can get an idea.

try like browns if you have brown hair and if you have blonde hair try blues and brighter shades

I would go into a sephora or a dillards and have them do your face. you really cant get that kind of advice by reading it; its best if someone shows you. and sephora will do little make overs for free! and they have samples of everything its so cute or a victorias secret.

Have youre frends show you. U should buy a makeup mireor. They have difrent shades of light that show for school ,work ,day @ home. Prtice be 4 going out of the house. Hope this helps.
