Makeup color for dark brown eyes?

It's going to be valentine's day soon and my wife has beautiful brown eyes. I'd love to buy her some makeup, as she's a fanatic about loreal maybeline (spelling?) but I have no clue about the stuff. There are all these little plastic cases. She has...

dark skin dark brown eyes, so I think I should get her a dark base but what about other kinds of makeup that I should buy? Any ideas?

I suggest, above all is pulling aside one of your wife's friends and possibly getting them to agree to go shopping with you, they're girls to start off with, they'll know more about what your wife would wear, and you'll feel more secure.

hmmm buying make up for her is tricky. I'd leave the make up buying to her. However... you can surprise her by getting her a make over, where then she could decide if she likes the look then you can buy her the make up that a professional picked out.

Dark brown eyes look great with virtually all colours its her skin colour that needs to be taken to account. Also since she is a make-up fanatic it would be helpful to know what sort of make up she likes... does she like colourful, natural, hip or all out crazy? If you could tell me her preference I would love to advise you further on what would be great to get her also her ethnicity as that also needs to go into consideration.

ask your wifes friends about it and ask the =m to help you. what i think is that she will look beautiful with light make-up b/c she has dark skin but not too light maybe light browns and dark browns ...

Okay I have exact same colors to deal with, were beautiful !!! , sooooooo go with brown,gold,black, any earthtones and she shall look great. buy some liquid eye shadows , and liquid eyeliners and go with dark colors or goldish brown looks great. not very colorful eye shadows because it wont cordinate properly.
