Mm...I would try mousse foundation, I find that really blends in and gives a natural look. And if you're unsure, go with a foundation lighter than your natural colour, because then you can always use bronzer.
Mousse foundation isn't great at covering pimples, but there's plenty of other ways. I'd invest in a lighter concealer than your foundation and a slightly darker. Apply foundation, then dot the lighter concealer on your pimples and apply blusher, mascara etc. Just before you dust loose powder over your face to set the makeup, if you can still see the pimples, use a tiny bit of the darker concealer, and they just disappear! Magic!
Anyway, mousse makeup is probably the best if you're looking for a natural look - I can even see my freckles through mine!

ok firstly are you using liquid foundation?
it can do that
my tip for you is to switch to loose powder foundation
apply a light facial moisteriser under it
apply your loose powder foundation with a big soft brush and do it in big circular motions
also, to help with pimples and stuff exfoliate everyday and always always always remove make-up before going to sleep!
mousse foundation is similar.
I had a problem with pimples showing through and loose powder foundation just made them disappear
good luck
No, mousse foundation isn't like liquid foundation. I have greasy skin, and have tried both. I can't actually wear liquid foundation it looks caked on!! But the mousse stuff is easy to apply, just glides on dead smooth and looks so natural! Loads of brands do it but my favourite are Maybelline dream matte mousse and Avon matte mousse.
Avril Lavigne does use mousse foundation, I was just looking it up in one of my old magazines. Best thing to do for dry/normal skin is moisturize before you apply so it doesn't dry out

sometimes,
it depends on your skin type.
if your skin is soft and clear and tone it should go one smoothly,
usually the more expensive ones work the best also.
I use a moose foundation that matches my color and I use a mineral concealer on top.
before applying this,
apply an oil-free moisturizer to your skin to make it softer and spread/blend better,
but you have to wait til it dries before appyling your coverup.
then you apply your moose or liquid concealer wait til it dries then apply your mineral one for a natural glowing look,
and for better coverage.
then apply your blush , bronzer or what ever you use.
it might not work perfect,
but if you read tips in magasines, they help.
I don't know why the other girl said not to use concealer - for me it's probably the one thing I can't live without!! And when I tell people I have really bad spots and greasy skin they laugh and think I'm joking and usually tell me I must have a damn good concealer then, which I do :-)
The type of foundation you use really depends on your skin type to be honest, but I'd steer clear if it's like mine

Finding the right foundation

Finding the right foundation
My foundation covers stuff like pimples and everything but you can tell that I;m wearing it. It's like obvious.
And I've gone thorugh like 6 different foundations. How do I get my foundation to blend in with my skin better?
