Dear shefa,
You must see a doctor right away for low back pain. It could be a number of things. Sometimes a simple x-ray can tell what is wrong. If you can't afford to see one right now try some heat for 10 minutes on the area and then a nice relaxing bath. If the pain continues and interrupts your sleep then you really need to go to the doctor.
Sue...good luck

I have battled that pain in the back as well. I went to chiropractor as my doctor couldn't help me. After about 5 visits to the chiropractor and following his advice I am finally back to normal. I had a pinched Sciatic nerve and had lost feeling on the left side of my leg. I can feel my leg again, bend and do all the things I used to do including play softball with my daughter. It was worth the 30.00 per visit to get all that back again! The first thing the chiropractor told me to do that worked instantly is when I am standing still...no matter what I do, relax the knees...don't lock them, bend them ever so slightly and the pain in the lower back will let up. The second thing was when I am sleeping on my side...always bring the lower leg slightly in front of the leg that is resting on top of it. It was hard to do at first ..sounds simple enough but hard to break old habits. It all works though. Hope this all helps you also. Good luck.

Well, it probably has a lot to do with your posture as well. If you don't stand or sit straight and if you carry around a lot of heavy things, than that explains it. Don't carry around more than 15% of your body weight. But you should still see the doctor, other than that, I don't know what to tell you.....Peace.
