Losing weight at 14?

I am 14 and am pretty sure I should lose weight considering I don't like my body that much and I am only 5'2 and 165 lbs!!! How can I speed up metabolism or loose weight[ at least 20-25 lbs] before August 12?

It may be hard... but try your best to drink NOTHING BUT WATER if water gets old you can sometimes drink a gatorade. they are very good for u. do some sit ups in the morning.. not at night. it works better when you do them in the mornin. go walking/jogging something like that it will help too. the thing that will help the most is drinking JUST water. good luck :p

well, I dont think you can really speed it up but heres a way to boost it kinda:
times your body weight by 11, and then the outcome will be how many calories you should consume a day. I know counting calories sucks, but it really helps if you cut out sugary drinks and sodas, plus, diet sodas are way better for your teeth. starving yourself is not a good way at all to lose weight. but you cant diet the weight off. to lose weight you have to work out. not like crazy work out, but maybe like 30 crunches and pushups and squats. thats what I do. it really worked for me. hope it works for you.happy

Ok, you need to work out to loose weight. Concentrate on nutrition. You cannot speed up this process and if you resort to bulemia or anorexia then your fu'cked because your body's gonna take all that nutrients and store it for as long as possible if you starve yourself. Which makes you loose absolutly nada. Yoga is really awesome, fun, and it works too. Work on excercising, and eating healthy. And start becoming confident in your body, because guys like confident girls, not needy ones who care too much about the way their bodys look. Oh and guys also like curvy girls, not sticks.

It's All About The Diet And The Exercise.
Eat Healthy,, No Junkies Or Munchies
Eat Smaller Portions.
Cut Out Sodas.
You Can Have 1 Cheat Day Per Week.

Excersise EveryDay. With Your Heart Rate Going Up. LIke Running. Where Your Out Of Breath. Walking Around Dosn't Really Count. It Will Help But Not That Succsusfully. Yo Should Increase Your Heart Rate For 30 Mins Each Day.

Go To The Gym, And Work The Tredmills, and Bikes.

Try eating breakfast 1st ting when you wake up tis speeds up your metaboliism for during the day ...
Drink lots of water it fills you up and wont you be as hungry happy
